How to transfer music Start by formatting the MicroSD card 1. Insert a microSD card into the phone. 2. Press OK to enter the Main Menu. 3. Within Settings/Tools select Memory then press OK. 4. Press 3 to select Card Memory. 5. Press the Right Soft Key under Format. 6. Press the OK key for Yes. To Transfer Music 7. Connect the USB cable between the phone and your PC. 8. Press OK to select Transfer Music. 9. Press OK again to confirm disabling voice calls. 10. On the computer, drag and drop music files into the drive.

where do i attach the usb cable to my phone??

The USB cable connects to your charging port. If you dont have one designed for that specific use, you can buy them online for very cheap. ($1 on ebay etc)

Can I use a card reader on my pc instead of using the usb cables? And if so, do I still format the card in my phone then transfer to the card reader to upload music then return back to my phone...

You need to put the SD in your computer and format it - drag and drop then you should be able to put it back into your phone and load the music that way. Post up if you have troubles with this process.

Does the music have to be a specific format to upload from the card?

The Scoop supports mp3, AAC and AAC+.

i have formated my Micro SD card and i have put music onto in but when i put the disc back into my phone i can't find any of the music that i just uploaded to the card. any help?

Music on my computer is MPeg4, how can I convert it to MP3 or AAC? It also doesn't show up on the phone (I did load it to the SD card), but I think that is because it is the wrong format for the phone.

I formatted the SD Card, I uploaded on to it my music from Windows Media. The only song it showed (on my phone when I put the card in) was a song formatted in .mp3, the rest of my files are .wma. How can i convert them all the .mp3?

ok i already have an lg scoop and the sd card. where can i get the usb cable and how do i use it?
