My Dare pairs easy with my motorola H1000 car kit.  I can dial numbers or select contacts from the Dare and everything works great.  However when I use the "voice" tag it recognizes and dials the correct contact but after 11-12 seconds the phone and system disconect/hanges up.  Does anyone have a solution.  I luv the Dare but need it to function with the car Kit.

I have the same issue with my nissanf actory installed bluetooth in my car.  The handset pairs with my car but when i attempt to make a call the audio get dropped from the speakers with call in the connect state. what i noticed  that if you disconnect from from the car  first you will have that issue. If you discconect from the phone (LG DARE)f irst  the problem does not occur. To get it back into a working state just turn off the phone and then turn it back on. then reconnect via bluetooth . That should make it work. This is definitely a software bug. My guess is that it can't handle a disconnect from  car kit etc.. .  I hope this gets resolved soon . Everythime i shuto ff my car without disconnecting from the bluetooth first i run into this issue, very annoying  My old phone worked fine.

I have the same problem. I love the feature on my phone to dial using the phone voice tag. It makes it so much easier to dial numbers that I can never remember. But it does exactly what you are saying, it will recognize the number, say that it is connecting/dialing and then the bluetooth with drop. I used to use a RAZR and this worked just fine. Hopefully LG/Verizon will make a software update to fix this. It really is the only thing I can't stand about my DARE.

I believe the last software version for the Dare is 970V03 (V 03) and I am pretty sure it addresses the BT "issue".

I have the latest which is V 05 and it didn't make any difference.  I have spoken to LG, Motorola and Verizon and have never gotten an answer.

I just checked my SW version and I have VX970V03... I have the problem. What is the correct action for us to get this addressed? Is there a way for consumers to submit trouble/problem tickets to LG to have bugs like this investigated and repaired?

Software update V03 fixed most of the BT issues. However, there still seems to be a problem. My assumption is the enhanced data transmission rate of Bluetooth on the Dare still has an issues with some factory installed Bluetooth kits. For example BMW, Mercedes, and Chrysler recommends specific LG handsets for use in their vehicles. As such for BMW the Dare and the Voyager aren't recommended for use whereas the Venus is. Also, Motorola and LG may not "talk" to each other due to contracts each has with car manufacturers.

LG Product Pro... your last response is not legitimate. For your information, the Motorola BT kit that we are referring to is the Motorola IHF1000. It is not installed by the car manufacturer. It is something that I bought and installed myself in 2 different cars. My old Motorola RAZR worked just fine with it and my wife's LG VX8350 also works just fine. It is definitely a problem with the DARE.

Last I checked, my DARE owners manual said that the phone was BT compatible. No where so far as I know does it say "Compatible with all BT devices except for MOTOROLA". I would not have purchased this phone if I knew this was not going to work. Now I am stuck with a phone that doesn't work properly with a device I PERMANENTLY installed in my cars. It is a SAFETY issue as far as I am concerned and it should be addressed. When I dial my phone in the car I have to look away from the road to the touch screen (not even a dial pad, which makes it that much harder!).

Please advise me on how to address this so it is corrected. Is there a phone number of LG Customer Relations that I can talk to a person and get this addressed? I cannot return my phone to Verizon because of my contract and warranty (along with their return policies).

I appreciate your help.

My issues are exactly the same.  My kit works with several different manufactors phones including LG.  It is only the Dare and its only the "voice tag" feature.  It connects and dials the correct contact but disconnects after 11 or 12 seconds.
