Hi.

I understand that suggestions posted here may be directed to the phone's dev team if one is lucky.

Please consider the following for inclusion in the next update.

Unit:

Sprint LG Lotus, SW version LX600V10, HW version Rev1.1, PRL version 60652.

Issue:

I have yet to find a way to enter accented characters in direct text entry mode. The phone is capable of displaying these characters, as evidenced by setting the language to Spanish and turning on predictive text. There seems to be no way, however, of actually typing them.

Motivation:

I am a native Spanish and English speaker, and occasionally text in Portuguese and French. I am disappointed by the fact that my phone requires me to use improper spelling when texting in any language other than English.

Requested Fix:

Include accented characters (ñ, á é í ó ú, à è, â î ô, ã and so on) in the Symbols menu when in QWERTY mode.

Thank you for forwarding this to the dev team.

Paul
