The Memo Widget is not in the Index or anywhere in the User Guide. But it is a great tool for making a sticky note or creating a "To Do" list. There are some drawbacks because it is ONLY accessable via the touch screen.
But, you can go to the Short Cut Menu where it is located and drag it to the desk top. Afer opening it, hit Edit. Then and only then, you can rotate the phone and the virtual keyboard pops up allowing you to use a 'return' key which is essential for creating lists. If you type "To Do" (or any name for your list or memo you want) at the top of the memo you will see that from your desktop.
The biggest drawback is that this function is only accessable via the touch screen. If LG had made the Memo Widget accessable from the keyboard, data input speed would be soooo much improved. |
