My phone LG EXPO GW820's battery runs low too fast compared to other phones. Is this usual for LG EXPO GW820? or am i the only one having this problem? PLZ HELP!

I had the same problem with mine. I thought it was a defect at first. But when searched the FAQ about LG EXPO GW820, i found a way to solve this.

1. Start – Settings – System – Power – Advanced – Select ‘On Battery Power’

2. Start – Settings – System – Backlight – Select ‘On Battery Power’

then, change the backlight duration to the way you want

The person suggesting the backlight correction is right. I had the same problem. I also noticed that after about 10-15 cycles of the battery, full charge and discharge that it seemed to improve also.

Make sure that after you X off the program your using u hit the task button and X off in there to prevent these programs from running in the background also. This drains the battery too.

Have you guys been able to change your ringtone for text msg? i cant seem to get past the defaults
