I have owned my LG Neon for about three months now and about two to three weeks ago my phone began to turn off on its own when I was in the middle of texting. This is extremely annoying so I called AT&T however I had no warranty on my phone so they told me to screw off. Thus I am wondering if there is anything that I can do about this problem myself such as replacing a part or something???

Is there something in particular you are doing when texting that might me causing this? What I am looking for is some kind of consistency that I can use to duplicate the issue. Also if your phone has been dropped your back cover might be loose thus causing your battery to disconnect.

What I have noticed is that my phone is most likely to turn off when I am frantically texting or when its warm. For instance, if I am trying to text back to someone quickly then it will turn off suddenly or when I have had it in my pocket and the temperature outside is warm my phone will turn off without me even touching it. It is true that I have dropped my phone and this problem started to occur after.

I don't blame you... But let's see if the Battery resolves the problem.

I think its a loose battery or something close to that because it has been dropped, try to tighten the back cover of your battery so that it won't move, or if it doesn't work buy a new battery.
